WHITEWATER RAFTING ON THE FRASER RIVER
Embark on an exhilarating ride down the Fraser River on challenging Grade 3 rapids — a wet and wild adventure suitable for the entire family. From your launching point in the shadow of the Mount Robson, test your mettle against the turbulent rapids and swirling eddies of the “Mighty Fraser.” Make a short portage around thundering Rearguard Falls and continue down the river, splashing through large rapids dwarfed by steep canyon walls and watch for wildlife and spawning salmon.
Caving Experience
Explore Canmore’s Rat’s Nest Cave system on this underground adventure. Meet your expert spelunking guide for gear-fitting and a quick safety briefing, and then set out on a brief hike up a mountain trail to the cave entrance. Along the way, listen as your guide points out fossils, discusses the geology of the region and identifies any wildlife you may encounter. Once inside the cave, be prepared for climbing and crawling, as you explore this magnificent wonder. Wend your way through "the Box," the Five Way Chamber and the Grand Gallery before finally ending up in the Grotto — one of the highlights this two-hour-plus adventure, with its crystal-clear pool and walls covered in stalactites and stalagmites.
