Descend into Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of Africa’s Seven Natural Wonders, formed two to three million years ago by a massive volcanic eruption. This vast caldera, surrounded by towering walls, is teeming with wildlife: wildebeest, zebra, buffalo and gazelle are abundant on the plains, while elephant, black rhino, lion and hippo can be tracked by experienced safari guides. The soda lake, adorned with flamingos, adds a vibrant touch to this remarkable experience.  

Two million wildebeest, zebra and gazelle race for their lives across the Serengeti in the annual Great Migration between July and October, dodging crocodiles, hyenas and big cats with big teeth.
